<p>When Tito Puente composed <em>Oye Como Va</em> in 1963 it was considered Latin Jazz.  Carlos Santana turned it into Latin Rock when he included the song on his group&#8217;s 2nd album <em>Abraxas</em>.</p>
<p>The song was their second single release from the album, the album was number 1 on the album charts in October and November of 1970.  the single peaked at Number 13.</p>
<p>This is considered one of Santana&#8217;s best.</p>
